You arrive, you walk a few minutes between the rows to the spot, and the hill does the rest. The blanket, the basket, real glasses, the bottle on ice: Brut or Extra Dry, your choice. You stay as long as you like. No programme, no guide: just the place, and the person who walks you there.

When.
In the warm season, by day or towards evening, when the hills are green and the light is long. We check the weather the day before: if it rains, we move it. For a picnic at sunset, ask: the sunset aperitivo is a different, shorter thing, but the two can be joined.
Where, and how to get there.
In Colbertaldo, a hamlet of Vidor (Treviso), among the vineyards of Valdobbiadene DOCG, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2019. By car: about forty minutes from Treviso, half an hour from Conegliano, just over an hour from Venice. The exact spot comes with the confirmation on WhatsApp.

Yes, and it makes a good one: write to us, we agree with you, then with the person who receives it, on the day they prefer. At Christmas there’s also the engraved wooden box, to wait for spring.
